This concert is particularly special as it's the seniors' farewell performance, and their enthusiasm is contagious. It's a night of incredible talent and community celebration. Lightning strikes twice! Due to overwhelming demand, the electrifying Couch is returning to our summer concert series! Last year, their phenomenal talent, masterful musicianship, and explosive energy ignited the crowd, creating an unforgettable experience. We witnessed firsthand the incredible connection they forged with our audience. They recently returned from a highly successful tour supporting Cory Wong, captivating audiences across the US, UK, and Europe, where they ignited stages and garnered a wave of new admirers. Boston-based band Couch infuses pop with funk, rock, and R&B/soul. Their vibrant sound is further defined by the members’ backgrounds in jazz, a cappella, and musical theatre. 

Until Spring 2021, Couch members were scattered across the country at various universities; they tackled the challenges of being a “long-distance” band, writing and even recording virtually for three years. Despite these challenges, they celebrated the release of their debut EP, “COUCH,” in February 2021 as well as three new singles and a headline tour in 2022.

In 2023, Couch released their sophomore EP, Sunshower, accompanied by an eponymous 20-city national tour, performances at Boston Calling and Levitate, and a sold-out UK tour.

Couch injects each project with their signature flavor: expressive horns, warm vocals, and bubbling synths—crafting an oasis of joy for musicians and non-musicians alike. Stay up to date on their activity by following them on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.

This will such a fun evening! The Linda Ronstadt Experience with American Idol Star Tristan McIntosh is the premier touring tribute band showcasing the songs that Linda Ronstadt made famous. The show takes you on a musical journey of smash hit songs, including “You’re No Good,” “When Will I Be Loved,” “That’ll Be the Day,” and a particularly delicate, nuanced interpretation of “Blue Bayou,” among many more.

This band had the Common up and dancing last year! More than just a band, East Coast Soul is a collective of musical energy, ignited in 2009 by a shared passion for soulful grooves. Cool Cool Cool blends the best of Funk, House and R&B to create a sound that is truly unique. With dynamic female-led vocals, a tight horn section, swirling synths and a rhythm section that lays down a wicked groove, this band knows how to deliver an electrifying performance. When you see Cool Cool Cool in person, you'll be swept up by the energy of their music and unforgettable live show.

After spending more than a decade traveling the world together with the touring act Turkuaz, the members of Cool Cool Cool decided to team up and form their own band in 2022. Their shared experiences, from playing dive bars to international festival stages, helped them develop a close bond that goes far beyond music. In Cool Cool Cool, this bond translates into a powerful synergy that allows each band member to showcase their individual talents, creativity, and passion.

Cool Cool Cool has been touring the U.S. in 2025 both as a headlining act, as well as the supporting band for Talking Heads members Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew (David Bowie, King Crimson) on their "Remain In Light" tour.

A beloved tradition returns! After a year's absence, we're thrilled to welcome back the legendary Bruce Marshall Group for their twelfth appearance. Bruce and his band are consummate musicians, weaving effortlessly through blues, R&B, country blues, and southern boogie with a palpable passion that resonates with every listener. Their exceptional musicianship will be on full display, a testament to their years of dedication to their craft. The first time we saw Bruce, he was opening as a solo act for BB King - and the crowd did NOT want him to stop playing. Tonight, you'll understand why. Get ready for an unforgettable night of music!

Get ready for another amazing COTC for Kids! Building on the excitement of last year's event, we're again partnering with Leach Library to bring you a Saturday concert designed to spark joy and musical discovery in our young audience. This special daytime performance is one the whole family will love!

For over 20 years Steve Blunt has been teaching and performing for kids & families, with this simple message: Music is fun—and it’s something everyone can do! Steve is a New Hampshire singer/storyteller whose fun, upbeat performances delight audiences at schools, libraries & concert venues throughout New England. He began writing kid-friendly songs in the 1990’s while raising a young daughter and working as a middle school English teacher.

For our concert, you will enjoy a lively show with catchy tunes for singing and dancing--and lots of silliness! This trio features award-winning children’s musician, Steve Blunt, on vocals & guitar; author/illustrator, Marty Kelley, on drums & harmonica; and Noelle Boc, the singing librarian, on tambourine & ukulele. Music is always more fun when friends come out to play--and this folk-rockin’ show invites library patrons of all ages to join in with singing, dancing, shaker eggs & more!

A decade of brilliance! Boston music icon Brian Maes and his powerhouse band return for their tenth consecutive year. Frontman Brian's electrifying keyboard and vocal mastery is perfectly complemented by his equally talented wife, MaryBeth, whose voice is simply breathtaking. This all-star ensemble creates an unforgettable live experience. Brian's illustrious career, including his current role as lead singer of Barry Goudreau's Engine Room and collaborations with Aerosmith and Peter Wolf, speaks for itself. A celebrated songwriter and recording artist, his 40+ year journey spans renowned studios and legendary stages. Brian is truly Boston rock royalty! His recent book series, 'Brushes With Greatness,' has seen multiple sold-out printings, with the highly anticipated final installment arriving later this year. We were thrilled to host Chicago Total Access last summer, even when the weather moved us indoors to the LHS cafeteria. The energy was electric, with a packed room and standing room only! This talented 10-piece band brought the magic of Chicago's timeless hits to life, reminding us all why this legendary band has resonated for over five decades. Their commitment to honoring Chicago's music is truly special, and we know you'll love it. The audience's enthusiastic response was undeniable, with countless attendees proclaiming, 'You have to get them back!' Their commitment to honoring Chicago's legacy clearly struck a chord!

We have our favorite bluesman and band - Brian Templeton and the Delta Generators - back again this year. This will be Brian’s thirteenth performance at Concerts on the Common, and we ask him to come back each year for a reason! Every one of these musicians is absolutely top notch. Singer Brian Templeton, once a Londonderry resident, commands over 40 years as a stalwart presence in Boston’s formidable music scene. His credits include the legendary band the Radio Kings and the Original House of Blues Blue Monday Band. The other members of this rockin’ band - Charlie, Jeff and Rick - bring the same level of talent. Head over to the Common to enjoy this super-talented band!

This dynamic duo is rapidly ascending as a must-see act, bridging the gap between traditional and contemporary country. Their critically acclaimed original music, captivating harmonies, and exceptional musicianship have garnered them a loyal following and the attention of industry heavyweights. With a resume boasting support slots for legends like Willie Nelson and Alison Krauss, Jilly and Ryan are poised for a major breakthrough. We will be just in front of the bandstand. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, everyone's welcome to learn new steps and have fun. Grab your friends and don your best western wear for an hour of two-stepping and good times. So come on out, kick up your heels, and get ready to show off your moves when Martin and Kelly take the stage!

Get ready for a sensational Old Home Days concert! We're thrilled to welcome back the incomparable Beatles tribute band Studio Two for their fourth consecutive year. This headlining band, renowned for their electrifying recreations of the early Beatles' club and touring era, delivers the authentic concert experience fans remember. Featuring Berklee College of Music graduates and dedicated Beatles enthusiasts, Studio Two meticulously recreates the Fab Four's sound, look, and stage presence. From their vintage instruments to their spot-on banter, they'll have you dancing to all your favorite hits, transporting you straight back to the golden age of Beatlemania.

We always have a very large crowd for this concert, so be sure to arrive early!
