For our Old Home Days concert, we have a real treat. The Beatles tribute band Studio Two will be returning to perform for us! Studio Two is a headlining Beatles band that pays tribute to the early Beatles, choosing songs from their club and touring years. These are the songs that fans actually saw them play in concert!

Featuring graduates from Berklee College of Music and Beatles devotees, Studio Two band mates met in a “cellar full of noise” in a town slightly west of Liverpool (Milford, New Hampshire) to pay homage to the greatest rock band of all time.

Band members are experienced musicians of today’s generation dedicated to preserving the memory and fan culture of The Beatles generation.

By recreating the Fab Four’s music, appearance, instruments, and onstage banter, Studio Two performs your most favorite hits that will bring people to the dance floor.

The weather looks great - we will be on the Common this evening. Hope to see you there!

“Couch is kicking it old school with a delightful, modern twist… [They] are single - or seven-handedly - breathing new life into the pop scene.” - Sheesh Media

We could not be more excited than to be hosting this fabulous band! They will be bringing a whole new level of energy and musicianship to our bandstand that we are sure everyone is going to love! Check out some of their songs here!

Boston-based band Couch infuses pop with funk, rock, and R&B/soul. Their vibrant sound is further defined by the members’ backgrounds in jazz, a cappella, and musical theatre.

Until Spring 2021, Couch members were scattered across the country at various universities; they tackled the challenges of being a “long-distance” band, writing and even recording virtually for three years. Despite these challenges, they celebrated the release of their debut EP, “COUCH,” in February 2021 as well as three new singles and a headline tour in 2022.

In 2023, Couch released their sophomore EP, Sunshower, accompanied by an eponymous 20-city national tour, performances at Boston Calling and Levitate, and a sold-out UK tour.

Couch injects each project with their signature flavor: expressive horns, warm vocals, and bubbling synths—crafting an oasis of joy for musicians and non-musicians alike. Stay up to date on their activity by following them on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.

Joslyn and the Sweet Compression

After cultivating her dynamic voice and performance skills in backup roles and stage plays, Joslyn Hampton teamed with her stepfather, Marty Charters (a touring guitarist and songwriter who has shared the stage with legends such as Junior Wells, Buddy Guy, and Van Morrison), to compose a captivating set of tunes and assemble an ace band. Joslyn & The Sweet Compression combine to deliver a hook-filled mix of funk and soul on their self-titled debut album, released in 2019. A headlining favorite at regional clubs and music festivals, they are poised to engage fans across the country with widespread touring in 2024.

Here they are playing at Red Rocks - wow!

"Magical...gives everybody the joy." Billboard Magazine

"A refreshing take on the neo-soul / funk sound, unbound by modern cliches." Glide Magazine

"A marvel...an instant classic!” Soul Tracks

"I've never seen a band come up more quickly...with more immediate skill and swagger than Joslyn & the Sweet Compression. Joslyn's vocal command and stage presence is special, and her band is brick-sh**house tight." Travis Young, Moonshiner's Ball

“The music Joslyn Hampton conjures onstage is rich with the funk, soul, and rock ’n’ roll inspirations of multiple generations, and at the heart of the brassy attack of her band, The Sweet Compression, and in the clear and confident command of her singing, sits a core element: Groove.” Walter Tunis, Lexington Herald-Leader
